So how's this better than say, stock, I mean is it worth it?

As far as power gain probably nill. More of a visual mod with the added security of better hose construction to help prevent boost leaks when running higher boost.

Can’t really say if it is worth it or not. I bought them for the above reasons, so guess it really comes down to what one likes and plans to do.
