"According to the company, the new coilover suspension has been “extensively tested” at the Nurburgring by its Ford Performance engineers, dropping the ride height by 15mm at the front and by 10mm at the rear. Drivers can fettle with the setup, too, as it offers 12 bump settings and 16 rebound settings."

Sounds nice. Definitely a nice stance.

I wouldve been all over a Competition Orange FiST!

Bright solid colors need to make a comeback.

I wish that WE had those wheels (but in 17") as an option on our Mk.7s. ;)

Just how different are the Mk.8 front knuckle/upright setups from ours??
Will this suspension bolt right up to OUR USDM Mk.7s?? [dunno]

Don't get me wrong. I am good with bright colors and would love another teal color like the 2nd gen MR2s had.
orange just isn't for me.

Plus factory Quaife differential! That is a big deal. The wheels and coilovers are nice too. I would have preferred they were not 18 inch wheels. Actually 15 inch steel wheels or a lighter 16 inch alloy would not have turned me off at all. These will be instantly desirable regardless of the paint color. Hell, I would have bought a spec package like that if it came in primer only!

Yeah, like I asked, I wonder if that suspension kit will work fine on Mk.7s? [dunno]

And YES, I would have paid > $2000.00 for a factory installed Quaife diff option, in less than a heartbeat, for our rides (not so much the Recaros for that much coin). [wink]

The coilovers are a vendor part. Those flow formed wheels are as well. If I had to guess who supplied the suspension, my guess is Bilstein. I have no reference point to judge if the suspension is mostly carry over or not.

It looks just like school bus yellow. Frankly, I hope that we see lots of non stock refinish work done on our Fiesta's in the coming years! Because I think our cars have some of the most brittle, chip prone factory paint jobs I have ever seen. I also have an original 2011 Fiesta SE hatchback with 92,000 miles. It's Finnish has been way better than the one on my 16.

My kids have sat in back of my fiestas for last 5 years with no issues. You sound like a typical suv buyer.......
No SUV here, but my kids would have kicked the back of the seats, like kids do. Then I wouldn't be able to drive the car until my release from prison. :)

As a 6’6” driver who daily’s a FiST, the rear seat room is inadequate for anyone unfortunate enough to sit behind me. Sure if you aren’t Andre the giant sized, it could work, but don’t assume that because it works for you means it works for everyone. I owned a Fusion before the Fiesta and I still had complaints from people who were sitting behind me [emoji2369]

You height is little over the average height in America and bit of a rare case. I’m 6ft with no issues with kids behind. I have other car if gonna be hauling adults around. People can’t claim seats are useless when they can be used in most cases.
