Moving to Cleveland area in 2 weeks. I have a catless DP. Any luck getting by E-Check? Or should I just return OEM DP onto the car

Okay it looks like there are just seven hold-out counties left...

...near the North-East corner of the state.
I am moving to Summit county which still uses it.

HOWEVER, I found a thread on a BMW forum where M3 folks have had success at the self service kiosks with decat DPs....as long as tuner codes for no CELs and ECU is in ready stage, the kiosks should let you pass.

Yeah but that's a BMW. A "lowly" Fiesta that looks oddly different from every other Fiesta they've seen, (because Fiesta STs are much less common than Fiestas) is more likely to be inspected for modifications. Then it might not be a matter of pass or fail, but a violation for rolling with a modified exhaust? What are the consequences for rolling without a Catalytic Converter?
