I think that’s part of the reason a lot of people prefer a dizzy tune vs a stratified one, the power is a little more tractable. My stratified tune was fun but it was a tire destroyer. The dizzy one makes just as much power but in a more adult way. I still flip tunes on occasion but each time I go back to dizzy for daily duties. I’m wondering how much of your butt test (there has to be a better way of saying that) is more aggressive throttle mapping vs actual power. Remapping the throttle makes it feel like there’s a ton more power.
I could definitely be wrong but my hunch is people are just feeling more low end tq. I can still tell there's turbo lag till somewhere around 2300-2500, but when it kicks in it hits like a truck now. But yea i do get you, a more linear curve makes the power come more gradually and less likely to out tq the tires.
