Goddamn you Ron. I've had that intercooler and other shit sitting in my cart for the past week rationalizing all the reasons why I don't need to mod this car past my E30 tune.

Not that I want to buy any more shit from you, but if I did, would you recommend the turbosmarte wastegate actuator for the stock turbo, and if so, which pre-load?
7psi is all I would use on the stock turbo
Jason@Dizzy tested it and has had good results

Not that I want to buy anything else. But is upgrading the stock BPV necessary? I don't need or want additional sound if it doesn't come with a noticeable improvement in performance.

the GFB DV+ is a great upgrade for boost levels above stock, regardless of turbo size (stock / hybrid / S280 etc)

Got mine in today, going to try to get it on this weekend along with the trans oil change and the brake rotors. Already got that coolant tank on, nice to have no leaks.

The fitment is tight as hell. I was a little worried because I heard some folks couldn’t get the air dam back on, but I got everything back where it needed to go. There is the SLIGHTEST gap between the bumper trim and side panels.

I had to prop the intercooler on the shipping box with a another cardboard shim while I worked everything into place. Without doing that when I got one peg in its rubber grommet, the other would pop out.

I greased the intercooler inlets with a bit of silicone and worked them on as far as possible, and loosened up the clamps further up so they could flex and twist to avoid a collapsed bend. I probably reworked the piping 3-4 times over to help snug the intercooler as close to the car as possible.

Looks good.

Yeah it is pretty tight. I found two pieces of broken plastic in there, no clue what they broke off of as I couldn't find anything that matches them.
