Hey y’all does anyone know why my esc button would be on after I changed transmissions on my 14 FiST? My original tranny was done, so I swapped it with an OEM used one from another FiST owner. Not sure if this relates, but my anti-rollback technology(hill assistance) doesn’t work as well.

Kind of sounds like in the process of swapping the transmission, either plug to one of the transmission or ABS sensors was left unplugged or damaged. Did you swap over the old sensors/switches on the transmission to the new one? If not, one of the sensors that came with the new transmission might be bad (speed sensor or gear select switches for example).

Hill holding only goes active when you pull the car out of gear and then put it back in first or reverse, and may use both the transmission and wheel speed sensors to detect motion
