Who has bought a new Evap. Purge valve and had it fail earlier than expected? Im just curious as I'm thinking mine is starting and its been alittle over a year for the factor Harness and Purge valve for my 15.[rockon] cIxE0yZBjSikRJjOF1.gif

sadly, my previous assy went south quickly. And so did factory pads - 15K, last inspection took me be complete surprise. I think its Ford contract mfg'rs trying to squeeze the job...both items currently performing as expected.

Im ditching the Fomoco Molded line poop and going with an easier to replace setup! I Got maybe a shade under a year on my last one!

If my Memory serves me correctly....Fomoco parts are a 2 year warranty *
Damn - I wish I would of known that. I decided to use a 3/8 fuel hose and replace the purge valve itself. That resolved the issue on start issues after filling up. Thanks for the information, hopefully it will help the next person as well.

Damn - I wish I would of known that. I decided to use a 3/8 fuel hose and replace the purge valve itself. That resolved the issue on start issues after filling up. Thanks for the information, hopefully it will help the next person as well.
I was in the same Boat* I decided to go the SVT design setup for Purge valve and Emission harness. Will make it 3x easier to replace if needed again thats for sure.
