The engine sounds pretty slappy even when it's healthy, but that muffled pig squeal / rubber chicken sound when you rev up is your accessory belt idler pulley and/or tensioner going bad.

Here's how mine sounded https://youtube.com/shorts/WK6VD50P6ms
Thanks for the reply man! I was worried my engine is knocking internally heres another clip I took just now - https://youtube.com/shorts/Jq23w_OzLos?si=k4AE9j7TNL4VrRzo

If you're bothered with the sound coming specifically from the part of the engine you're zooming on, that sounds normal.

Most of it are normal direct injection sounds. There might also be a bit of dual mass flywheel rattle, but I don't hear anything excessive; it gets much more prominent and the car still drives fine (I know, because I got annoyed by it and had it replaced too). If it's DMF, then if you try pushing the clutch pedal in, it should quiet down somewhat.

Here's how it rattles:

Some folks replace that with single mass flywheel and sprung clutch (OEM one is unsprung) but then you get more slap coming from the transmission itself and it also has to absorb more shock so I'm not sure if its worth it.
