Backfiring after fitting BOV

My S 280 tuned Fiesta-st has been mapped with a GFB DV + ... Yesterday I removed the DV + and fitted a turbo smart Kompact Dual port .. Car feels so much faster now but also started to backfire abit ...Does the car need to be retuned to accommodate the Dual port now ?
What other Bov can I use on this setup ?

Did you switch from recirculating to VTA? It shouldn’t really matter since we’re MAP based tuning.

That makes sense. If your car is expecting recirculated air and you are now venting to atmosphere, you do need a retune.
