Coming from a drifting (miatas) background, I would love to see a kit with center exit exhaust. Siblings are supposed to look alike...

The fiesta hasn't been out that long, so maybe someone will make a different rear diffuser with center exhaust. The focus is getting a facelift that makes it look more like the fiesta/fusion for 2015

Look under the car and tell me what kind of luck you'll have with that.

Honestly, you can do anything if you have the money. It would hang pretty low under the fuel pump, or whatever that black box is.

I think something like this would look good. Maybe with quad exhausts like the subarus

Now if we can just get someone to produce that rear bumper lol.

They do this for the twins brz/frs so maybe if you get the defusser for it you pipe would be simple

Bojix will actually make you a center exit exhaust. It's pricey though.

Options:

Center exit:

1) Add 90 degree bend after muffler, tucked behind bumper cover and right next to tire well, add custom tip with 90 degrees built in, add one more hanger. Results, more weight, more restriction, notch in diffuser with nothing in it, not matching other side, so need custom diffuser and if you want to tow a custom hitch design.

2) Add a big notch in tire well to fit shorter muffler and use two 45 degree bends, move charcoal canister that has hard formed lines. Less weight, better flow, much more work, still have the diffuser and hitch issues.

Dual exhaust:

1) Add 90 degree bend after muffler with a passenger side exit cut in at the start of the bend, add very sharp 90 degree bend on drivers side. More weight, no gain in performance, still need custom diffuser.

----------------

My take on all this?

Much effort and cost with added weight and or restriction and no added performance gain, actual loss of performance in 2 of the 3 scenario's.

Though I love the looks of a center exhaust or dual exhausts, I have duals on my dually, I cannot see doing this and lowering the performance of the car, I would rather take weight out than add more just for looks.

Do as you will of course, just saying what I feel is important to me.

Rick

1) Center exit,

This thread is in the wrong section as it has nothing to do with making power or making the car faster, the opposite is what it is about so it needs to be in a styling forum of some sort;)

------------------

Ryst, You get it buddy, that is a power adder and weight reducer, I have done that on a street/track fully built Scion TC:)
