Hello everyone,
I recently did the timing job on my car (thank you @TyphoonFiST for the diag and guidance), and after getting everything back together I keep having this beeping when I open the door and when the car has ignition off and sits for 5 minutes then completely cuts off. Driving me nuts because I can’t figure out why.
I don’t have any codes other than the occasional P0420 (have a high flow cat w/ spacer) and the P016A (happens when you tune afaik).
I read and heard people talking about the car thinking a window is open. Have cycled those a million times, plus the sunroof, full open and close. Both key fob batteries have been replaced during all of this.
The only weird thing that happened was today when I pushed the car hard in a roundabout, harder than usual, and the car freaked out, cut power, all the lights on as if you turned it to the on and ignition off position (no clutch but hit start), then turned back on and continued to run like nothing happened. Battery terminal connections are tight and the connection to the alternator is also good. Car runs great otherwise.
Attached a video for you all.
