0w40 thoughts?

So my work has pennzoil ultra platinum pure plus 0w40 for like $2.00 a quart without my discount. Any thoughts on this oil ? Anyone still have a power train warranty and run thicker oil? I know it's not that thick but just fishing because it's stupidly cheap.

If I could get it at $2/qt. I'd do it. That's a good oil. I'm using their UP 5w20.

It's the SN spec oil with the lower noack apparently also....it supposedly around a 6%

I'm just gonna roll with the 0w20 extended mobil 1 it also is on clearance for 2.00 a quart....found some hanging around in back. Cha-ching! I love it when they clearance out oil!

Pennzoil is a good brand of oil and using 0w40 won't result to serious problem.
