Do they have Clear coat on them?
lol my wife asked the same thing! Yes they do, but I have to wait 30 days for hardening before I can buff and wax them. The rest of car has a finish, the stanky eyes and cup spoilers haven’t been spit shinned yet. I think that’s what’s going on.

Pretty happy with it, just need to do the other side now. Didn’t want to do both at once because I had no idea how it would go or what it would look like. So now just need to see if they leak and then I can do the other side. Easy enough.

Got the other tail light painted and installed... they aren’t perfect. It was a learning curve... but, I like them for being free or whatever. Might keep them if the imperfections don’t bother me to death after a while. I definitely think they’re better, imperfections and all, over the annoying stock chrome.

Wiper delete.... had some black silicone and a plastic body clip from the hood liner lying around. Just removed the wiper arm and motor. 8mm socket and 13mm socket. Pumped the factory grommet full of black silicone and slid the body clip onto the rubber existing plug. Is it as amazing? Not really, but it was certainly cheap as heck and I think looks fine. Looks less like a mini van back there now. Might switch it out for some rubber plugs later if it bothers me and/or leaks.

Not sure I understand the wiper delete unless it's full race car...

Is this full race car?

You've inspired me on the tail lights, I might have to attempt that myself. Looks good!!

No it’s not a full race car lol, it will be REALLY fast. Although, will always be a street car. I personally find the wiper to be rather useless as well as awfully ugly. My preference is to have the vehicle stripped off of it. Certainly won’t be missing it any! It’s a spring/summer vehicle, so no snow for me. To each their own though :) Good to hear on the tail lights! Thanks. Just watch your plunges with the dremel. You can see the surface cuts with the wheel if you’re not careful... that’s where my imperfection came in. Trial and error! Still looks fine though.

I used to own a GTI and the wiper delete was pretty popular over there as well. It isn't for me but I live in the Seattle area so the more wiping the better. (Insert pun here.)

Some random IRL shots - can’t wait to get my turbo setup installed... feels like I’ve been sitting on it forever. Oh yeah, I have been. Been trying to do side work and stuff to catch up on funds for the last push of items needed and a tune. Patiently waiting and grinding when I can.

Is that a 3" diameter tail pipe, or less?
it’s the injen 3” cat back system. I haven’t measured the actual outlet but would presume it’s 3”... does look awfully small though doesn’t it? I plan on chopping it off and welding on dual 3” exit side by side. Really want the dual exhaust left/right bumper but too much work for nothing.

I ask because I have a 3" 304 straight tail pipe I made up for my CP-E exhaust, and had it black glacier Cerakoted, but have not installed it yet (was going to put it on for the 2020 rallies for the 'U.S. stage car look', but the ones I was going to work on were ALL cancelled this year).

I wanted to get an idea of what it would look like, why I asked if that was a 3" outlet or not. [wink]

Just got home and measured it up for you - it is indeed a 3” OD exit.

I ordered this body kit April 7 - 3 months wait time now.... it’s been sitting limbo like this since May 23rd. I already have the thing paid off lol... fingers crossed. I have contacted carbon pixels multiple times but they are no help. I did, fortunately, order this with PayPal so I presume I will be covered if the kit doesn’t show up. Feels sketchy but I’m still hopeful.

I ordered something from Russia in mid March, and it showed up two weeks ago. Stuff has been getting super delayed because of corona.
