Might the problem lie with the battery current sensor? That's the expensive battery cable with the box on it that makes it cost $100.
Yes that's what I'm thinking it is

Has anyone ever tried bypassing the battery current sensor or the battery monitoring system..

I did notice the fuse in the diagram.

Wires look suspect but I guess that's just from you unbundling to inspect for damage?

So I recently be came the proud owner of a 2014 ford fiesta St and I swapped the battery on with a new one and now I'm getting a U1007. Car just cranks and cranks but doesn't start up need help on how t ok rest bms with out scanner please thank you

Are you sure that you used the right battery?

After installing new cable sensor.. nother happened it crank and crank and crank but a no start so I took everything off this morning and found out I was a 180 degrees out on my cams so I just fixed it and putting everything back together right now will let y'all know tonight how it goes say in a little bit

I was just about to suggest that it was probably something unrelated. Curious how it previously started up at all though? It uses a belt and (presumably) tensioner but a slip... especially to that degree would quickly result with bent valves, possibly damaged bottom-end.

Well u see it's funny u say that because when I first got this car back last year In july cylinder 3 piston had disintegrated inside so I have finally got around to fixing it now I have this problem

Wait. The car drove fine, the battery died so you replaced it. Then a battery cable. And a cam got 180 degrees out of timing? I'm not following how a battery and cable change affects the cams.
