Ac actuator stopped working and constant clicking

Replaced all actuators 200 miles ago. Today the one behind the glove box stopped working so I went ahead and pulled it out and inspected it. It's totally functional all gears are clean too. Whether the actuator is connected to the car or not I hear this constant clicking sound coming from the glovebox area. What could it be?

It can be tough to hear which actuator it is. Also, even OEM actuators are frequently bad.

It's not the actuator. The actuator which turns the vent to recycle/fresh doesn't work it's stuck recycling air. The door itself moves smoothly and freely so it's not stuck something just isn't working.

Whether the actuator is connected to the car or not I hear this constant clicking sound coming from the glovebox area.
