So I had my mind set on the FoST, but the more I read about the Fiesta the more I like it over the focus. Anyone have any regrets getting the Fiesta?
Anything you dislike about it?

I also regret a little that I didn't get the recaros, but with the lower cost without them, I was able to pay for the car in full. I also plan on using this as my future family car and heard it's tough to get a babyseat in the back with recaros. Otherwise the Fiesta is a super easy commuter car that turns into a little beast with the help of my right foot and show downshifting.

Haha seems like not any real regrets.
I do plan on getting it with the recaros.

Couple of the little pet peves i have with it is the lack of HID and back up camera. Both which can be solved.

i don't regret passing on recaros. I recommend trying both. I was bummed about the HIDs and back up as well.

I chose the FiST over the FoST after a few rigorous test drives and still have no regrets purchasing the FiST 1.5yrs later...The FoST just felt too large and not as agile....

Also my expectations for the FiST were set pretty low to begin with as I still consider the FiST as just a cheap sporty economy car which cost me less than $24K OTD fully loaded and I wouldn't have purchased it without the Recaro seats...All and all its been a fun nimble lil' go-cart which I use as a daily driver...

Back up camera on a small car like the fiesta? Ehh

I don't have any regrets when it comes to the car. I dislike the lock/unlock button. That's probably my biggest issue with the car.
I also test drove a focus st and while it was faster, it felt too big and I was looking for a smaller car

Yeah i will be cominng from an 06 maxima, so it will definitively feel small.

The size is one of the things i didnt like about thr focus, i was checking external dimensions and it is a big car, much larger than i imagined it to be.

The FiST is a great daily driver. I have no regrets as I think it is the ultimate fun commuter car. It provides a very exciting driving experience and maintains great mpgs and actually has a lot of rear trunk space when the seats are folded down. Plus it is very cheap to mod compared to other cars.

Some downsides are the suspension is on the stiff side and there are no remote start systems available which would be nice for the cold climate I live in.

Talking about bad weather, how does it do on the snow. Being that it has lots of low end torque and its light weight.

Regret not looking for a model with the Recaros. I stopped by the dealer just to take a look at it and left with it. Wished I would have waited till I could find one with the seats. Still like it a lot.

Only other thing that bugged me was how my shin rested on the center console. Adjusted the seating position and I've gotten used to it.

I haven't gotten used to the looks of the car like I thought. The lateral line and the drop off of the rear from the B pillar don't sit well with my visual preference. Love hate relationship with the Recaros. They don't provide enough room for my legs and man parts (not a fattie either, just former ball player and bodybuilder). However, I think their lateral support is key to really enjoying the car's abilities. Finally, even with snow tires the car gets stuck in any snow over 6 or so inches and has way too much power for the front tires on icy hills. Traction control is very relaxed, which obviously can be a good point or bad point. But, Ive driven RWD all my life and probably not getting this thing down just yet. This was to be my one and done FWD track whip.

Like most, I regret the not getting the recaros. I figured that it would be easier for me to just get aftermarket seats for a lot less, but then realized I would probably never do that. So now I'm on the hunt for some recaros. I could have done without the nav or satallite radio though.

No regrets so far. I wish the Sync 3 system worked better than it does for me. But had I gotten the 2015 I'd be stuck with the MFT system, so I'd rather have the newer system that still working out the bugs than an older one that never did.

MO doesn't seem that common among Fiesta ST owners, but it is kinda a flagship color for the ST. It just stands out a bit more. But that's what I like about it. I rarely see any other Fiesta STs around and I haven't seen one in orange since I bought my Fiesta. It stands out more among the sea of white, grey, and black cars on the road which are the colors that everyone has Fiesta or not.
