bedding in factory 'summer' pads??

Do the factory/Motorcraft summer ("S" labeled??) pads require an extensive/complicated break in procedure (like some of the more track oriented options do) in order to function/seat properly?

If so, what is it, exactly?

Nope, put them on, do a few basic 30-0 stops like you would for any street pad and send it. Yes you can do a comprehensive break in procedure with various levels of speed, but they are street pads, they don't need a complicated process.

That's what I thought, since as far as I know there is no bedding in done at the end of the assembly lines with the factory pads, and the dealers never suggest the customers do it either.
