Best Bulbs for Euro Headlights

Hello, I'm a first time poster but long time reader.

I have a set of HELLA Euro Headlights coming soon and want to make sure I get the right H7 and H1 bulbs, I know that there are many options.

First, are the Euro Headlights considered Halogen, HID, or LED projectors?

Second, knowing the answer to the first, which pair of H7 and H1 bulbs will help to output the brightest, most focused beam of light while also avoiding blinding/glaring other drivers?

What's the maximum wattage the housings/harness can take?

I was taking a look at the Hikari Titanova 2023 65W model, which are highly rated, but unsure how well they'll work for our Euro Headlights.

Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks!

Projector headlights are meant to use HID bulbs. There are people who put LED bulbs in projectors, but the performance is actually inferior to an HID bulb.

I just looked at a Hella headlight. It says it is just a reflector design, not projector. So if it's just a reflector headlight it would be meant for use with regular halogen bulbs, and it will work with LED bulbs "for offroad use only".

Unless you mean you are buying the Hella LED projector unit which is meant to be swapped into a headlight housing to replace the reflector and bulb.

Thanks Steve

I should have been more specific, this is the exact headlight I got: https://cars245.com/en/item/hella-1EL354803061-headlight/

I followed along the euro light guide on the forums but I didn't see any mention of which works best with this particular housing. I see the majority of fiesta st owners going for LEDs with these

The Fiesta Euros are halogen projectors.

For H7's I am going to be using these (my euros are still new in box not on car yet)\
https://www.amazon.com/AUXITO-Upgra...&qid=1681438982&sprefix=h7+led,aps,74&sr=8-24

For H1s I am going to try these (another member said he had difficulty getting them to sit correctly though) but again I bought them and they have been sitting around here for months

I like the small form factor of both of these compared to the older tech but their performance is still yet to be seen. I'd recommend spending a bit of time searching amazon for H7 and H1 LED there are ALOT of options.

Also in the euro headlight thread on here there are some older LED's that members have found to be tried and true. I personally like the techmax branded LED's and so do many members on here.
