I recall it was 75W-80 but now it looks like it's advertised as 75W-75? Did the formulation change since then?

https://www.bgprod.com/catalog/driveline/bg-syncro-shift-ii/

> BG Syncro Shift® II is an API GL-4 gear lubricant blended to SAE 75W-75 viscosity and may be effectively used in all vehicles where engine oil, ATF, or GL-4 gear oil is specified as “service fill” for manual transmissions.

Yeah, that is now like the Ravenol MTF-3 in viscosity.

Great for the very northernmost parts of your province in winter, probably not ideal for summer use anywhere south of that, especially not for any open track use at all.

That said, it's 7.1 cSt@100*C spec does seem to be OK, and it still meets the Ford WSS-M2C200-D2 spec, but then the Ford spec is based on the watery DTC fluids, so [dunno].

Interesting, I wonder why they changed it.

I am currently running MTF 3 but there is no Ravenol distributor in my area and there is a BG one, so if they carry Syncro Shift I might give it a go.
