Why dont you get the Rotors Cro
TB Performance had a recent sale, so decided to shed a little more weight by replacing the OEM mid-brace with their I-brace. I can feel that the I-brace is significantly lighter just by holding it. My bathroolmscale can't weigh anything that light, but according to this thread, OEM brace is about 4.6 lbs vs. 1.4 lbs, for weight savings of around 3.2 lbs.

TB Performance I-brace. As an added bonus, they throw in Gummy Bears with their products. Just like their front and rear crash bars, welds and the finish are on point.

Why don't you get the rotors cryoed? I've done it and it definitely helps with stopping rotor warpage and heat absorption.

when do i get to see this car in person? i live in Mesa & am around Gilbert sometimes and i don't think i've ever seen you in the ~1.5yr of being a Fiesta owner. do we know if the Pavillions show exists during the summer?
Sadly the pavilions is no longer, the new owners kind of pissed everybody off so now it's down the 101...

I live in south end of Chandler. Never been to Pavilions before but went to Scottsdale Cars and Coffee a few times while back but I don't think they do that anymore, either. Do you know of any Fiesta specific groups in the area?

The new rotor rings seem to be doing fine so far, but I'll consider it if I encounter any issues down the road.

Haven't posted in a while as I'm running out of things to do. Recently decided to go ahead with the sunroof delete as I never use it, and is a good way to shave ~25 lbs off of the highest point of the car and getting rid of several potential leak points.

Below are before and after pictures from the inside.

From the outside.

Removed no longer needed drain and rear windshield washer fuild hoses.

Also organized the wiring for the backup camera and Homelink/auto-dimming rear view mirror while the headliner is off.

No signs of leakage after sealing it with Black RTV. Will run it through a car wash as the final test before putting the headliner back on.

how did you removed the "fake" rear grille? Is it possibile to do it without removing the entire bumper?
Took some time as I was using Dremel tool to cut/grind away. It'll be extremely difficult to do it without removing the bumper but it's worth removing anyways to redo the body tape that started to come off to prevent leaks.

i thought was a piece, kept in place with plastic pieces. You have literally cut the bumper in the right spot, got it

Did a minor and major mod recently. The minor one is installation of SVT Design Underdriven Billet Water Pump Pulley with a slightly larger drive belt.

It's under driven by 8% and slightly larger and I'd say about half the weight of the stock pulley.

This picture gives an idea of the size difference.

Even with AWR PSMM/TSMM (62 durometer) and Cobb RMM, a crowbar on the crank pulley bolt allowed moving the engine just enough to get the old pulley off. However, I could't move it enough to put the new pully in as it's slightly larger. Removing the idler pulley, PSMM bushing bolt, and raising the engine a little bit proved just enough extra clearance to slip into place.

I've driven in high-90F weather with AC on and haven't noticed any difference in coolant temperate so far, will see how it does in 110F weather.

The major mod is removal of WMI system and addition of XDI HPFP35 along with +30% injectors with double seals.

Unbolting the crossover pipe (at least for the Whoosh one) from the coil cover provided enough flexibility to push it back, providing plenty of clearance for the HPFP replacement.

I highly recommend having a fuel injector removal tool handly. Two of the injectors were stuck, but few tugs with the slide hammer freed them.

I mounted the new injects on the rail first after transferring bottom and top clips from old ones, then seated them in the head by turning each of the rails bolts few turns at a time.

I temporarily installed the coils to ensure that the car fired up without leaks before putting the coil cover and induction hose back on.

Not pictured is the cam bucket. The old one looked OK but I replaced it anyways with the HPFP was off, and XDI recommends it anyways. There were misfires at WOT but reducing the plug gap fix it. The car runs strong even on the base map and I can't get enough traction in 3rd gear now for data logging. I will wait until the weather warms up and reduce the tire pressed a bit before trying again.
