Good afternoon Lads! I've read just about every Sub thread on here that I could find, And have mostly everything I need, just a few questions I have I couldn't find answers to, tho.

First, my plan is to tap into the rear speakers as a hi input (Sub will be in the trunck). It seems like most people are running the power through the firewall at the driver's side, but then running it over to the passages side and getting the audio from the passenger b pillar. Is there a reason? Are there only speaker wires on the passenger side? I was gonna just run everything straight back on the drivers' side.
Second, would I even need to run a remote wire if I'm using line-level inputs? Shouldn't the sub just turn on when the speakers do?

Third, is pretty much everyone turning off the DSP in forscan? is that a good idea, or should I do something else?

thanks!

definitely disable the sony equalizer stuff. I'm not sure what the Sony EQ is but it really messes with bass and highs. The bass becomes pretty inconsistent. The highs were peaking really often for me, too. Turning it off made a huge difference.
