To answer my own question. The rear spring from an ST Suspension lowering spring kit is 11in tall.

Swift Spec R rear springs are 10-5/8" in length.

That makes sense. They are almost double the rate of the ST springs.

The stock spring is 11.75in long.

Spring rate plays a big part, you cant just assume a shorter spring will lower the car.

Well in this case, the ST spring, it did lower the car and the spring rate was less than stock.

Where did you get that the rates were lower than stock? From what KW told me the ST springs are 144lbs/in out back. Stock springs are 143lbs/in for the early ST's and 137lbs/in in the later ST's.

I measured the one off my car at 111-117lbs/in. I didn't measure my stock one. Guess I can. The ST book for my 16 says 143.

KW/ST still hasn't gotten back to me with an actual rate, after I ask last week. I was told initially before I bought them they were 240/250. That is BS.
