Can the front air dam be easily removed?

My driveway has a sizable bump coming off the roadway, and the black plastic air dam on the bottom scrapes unless I crawl at a 45 degree angle. Anybody know if that piece removes easily / cleanly? I know there is some MPG sacrifice in removing them.

If it can't come off easily, I suppose with time it will get worn down enough to not scrape any longer [thumb]

Mine was removed long ago. If i remember there are like 7 push pin connectors and it came right off. Don't forget the 2 clips that attach to the side air dams.

They are a wear item, I would keep it on and replace as needed, they do serve a purpose.

How useful/what is this air dam for? I'm not scraping it on the street as my car is set pretty high on the Bilsteins but I am scraping it at the track on certain sections with elevation change
