Can't get those. They use to look like that but no longer. The current ones (below) are too plain for me.

Decided to quickly check the Mishimoto OCC after one week of use, about 600km. Mixture daily driving(50/50 hwy/city) with some spirited driving (few pulls, several hard take offs, etc..) on stock tune. Was quite surprised that there was slightly more than a teaspoon. Glad I have it installed. Also checked for some rubbing and noticed the A/C charge pipe rubbing. A gentle pull of the A/C pipe towards the radiator and the problem was solved.

Did you install a CG drain kit or just take the can out?

Changed the induction hose (previously Puma Speed) to a Mountune Induction hose. No real reason other than the hose was part of a used Mountune induction hose set, which I will install later this weekend. Also plastidipped the end of the hood prop bar to soften the contact area with the hood.

Lazy Sunday Afternoon October 11 2015

While the food was cooking I took advantage of the nice day and puttered on the car. Installed the Mountune charge pipe upgrade, some new wheel lugs (post a few post back that I won a $20 ebay bid for 20 orange racing lugs figure I should try them), and rotated the tires.

First the hood prop works quite well and the plastidip cushions the hood nicely.

Hose went on quite easily. Had to remove one hard pipe to make it possible to remove one hose.

This is a must have helps almost more than a flexible extension. This one is for 1/4" drive

Since one of the hoses is for the sound symposer I decided to try a quick DIY to see if I like it without it. A simple bottle cap that fit. Not a long term but a quick test.

Shot of the lugs. Not sure I like them but the extended length makes hand tightening the lug quite easy. I find there is to much white on them. Figure to try before the winter to see if they even work. The OEM are secure in the boot.

Also adjusted the muffler one last time. The car is still on the jack stands and will finish tomorrow before taking it for a spins to see if all the hoses are secure before the work week begins. If all is well I will book the MP215 flash tuning, just before the winter.

Got the MP215 map finally loaded via the dealership. Had to update the accessport first but other than that was a painless process. I ended up doing all the wrench work and only paid for the time they loaded the map and ogled my car. [;)]

Played with it on the way home. With some interesting results
1- FAST!!! Damn the speed comes on quicker
2- Bye bye fuel sipping mode; I think this is simply me being way more aggressive today... maybe [:p]
3- Need to perform some data log but from what I saw I was getting shy of 23psi @ near 5k rpm in 3rd
4- FAST!!
5- It seems the MTune does not have as many gauge options as the regular cobb access port.
6- OBDII plug and cable not the best place for leaving a straight cable when using work boots (that's right that is what I wear)
7- Was what I was hoping for. Will obviously play with it some more but I do like how the car feels with it.

Picked up the snow tires and new summer rims. I could not get the Dunlops so ended taking Pirelli Sottozero III 215/45R17.

Fun times to come. Now I am thinking of selling the potenza that have 15,000 km for something else next summer. Would need to get $400cad to make it worth it.

They look nice. Didn't want anything lighter though?
