I'm personally interested how far my engine will go and what it will look like at its end of life with no catch can. I will be putting a catch can setup on the car when I put the new engine in though.

If you get one I highly recommend one with a drain valve. That way you don't have to remove it each time you drain it; instead, it takes mere seconds, just drain it each time you change the oil. Here's my vid from a few years ago...I was wrong about the oil smell on the breather cap btw, you only smell if you pop the hood and get right up on it.

Mine also has a dip stick, easy to check.
