Choose New Wheel + Summer Tire

Hello Guys,

I'm not sure of my choice for new summer wheel.

I think to go with tire in 215/40R17 when the OEM tire will dead. Is important for me to allow to the OEM tire to fit on the new wheels for more choice and price tire in the future.

For the new tire I will probably Go with the new Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec.

Options:

1. Pro Race 1.2 Anthracite 17x7.5/4x108/45mm offset

2. Pro Race 1.2 Anthracite 17x8/4x108/48mm offset

I know tire rack is having a sale on the 215-45 for 106 a tire!

that would all depend on the offset of the wheel.

Hello Guys,

Just to keep you informed I have choose the 17x7.5 finally. I probably buy with a offset of 42mm or 45mm I'm not decided.

I have choose the 17x7.5 because it's more versatile for the tire choice it's possible to me to put the original size 205/40R17 (with a little stretch) on the 17x7.5 and it's possible to upgrade to 215/40R17 in the future.
