Clunking sound at the start of acceleration and coming off throttle

I'm getting a brand new noise from the front and seeming left of the car, a sharp sounding clunk clunk when I give it power and one clunk when I come off power. I already have a Vibratechnics passenger and rear motor mount, installed in July. I just got it back from a shop, where they did my timing belt, water pump, and AC compressor. I'm assuming they didn't tighten something properly, but given I don't know what someone would have to undo as part of that work, I can't make any guesses. My first thought is the driver's side motor mount, given which side the sound seems to be coming from and when it happens, but I wouldn't have thought that would have been touched. I'll be checking the easier to access motor mounts ASAP, but I'd love some insight from people who know more than me! Thanks

hey mate, from your description it sounds like I have a similar issue as you. Did you work out what it was? mine only happens coming on and off the power in first and goes away as the car warms up. I'm hoping it's a worn out CV or something thats bolt on/off but not sure.

Yeah it was just a loose bolt on the motor mount. Shop had to disconnect it and didn't tighten it properly. Worked itself loose but was super easy to fix. If you haven't done your passenger side motor mount yet that'd be my first guess.
