Cobb AP Oil Temperature vs Actual Oil Temperature Sensor

I saw a post on here a month or two ago where someone was asking how the Cobb AP's oil temperature estimate compares to what an actual installed oil temperature sensor reads. I can't find the the thread anymore and didn't see any answers when it was first posted. Has anyone here installed a oil temperature sensor and compared it to what their Cobb AP reports as the estimated oil temperature?

i have heard that the oil temperature on the AP is actually calculated based on a few different measurements. but that’s as much as i know
