Ah okay. I live in SoCal too so rust won't be a problem. I'm looking for something that is track capable while still being streetable. I just ordered a set of 17x8 wheels, I don't think clearance will be an issue?
No, clearance is not an issue for me. The only reason I get any rub is because I have taller-than-stock tires (215-45-17 instead of 205-40-17) - I have to imagine that a car on stock 205-40's or 40-profile 17s will be fine.

You're welcome to check the car out any weekday at ModBargains or check it out Weds Oct 15th at the SoCal Fiesta ST meet at ModBargains 5p-8pm.

where did you get your rims from?
I traded a friend my stock wheels+cash.

If you need wheels for your Fiesta ST ModBargains.com can hook that up for you - what are you looking for?

Exactly what I'm looking for. I like the fifteen52 tarmacs but they're way too much. Only ones left are TD pro race 3s. But those aren't really cheap.

The 16 inch wheel weigh 21 pounds so you won't be saving weight wise but the style is awesome and great price.

Can we get more details on this wheel like offset, weight, construction? Please :)
lol I'm not Bojix call them lol

I am sure it's reasonable weight and I am betting Gravity Cast and ET38 probably because it's for a Focus 4-lug or Fiesta.

Off set is 30. Will that be too aggressive for our cars on stock height? And that's for the 16 inch. 17 inch is 38 offset.

Damn. I just can't win. I don't want to run 8 wide. Is the 38 offset too aggressive? If it's 17x7.

With a 215 or wider tire its a possibly for rubbing if lowered i believe. You might get a way with 205 tire but it all depends how lowered you go.

MKVIIST is running 35 or 38mm offset on 17x8 and his is lowered. 17x7 shouldn't be a problem at 38mm.

ET38 is STOCK OFFSET

I am running a 17x7 ET38
It is FINE

Acceptable range for us is ET38 to ET45 or so

I am running 215-45-17s and only started to rub noticeably once I put the coilovers on. If I had 215-40s instead it probably wouldnt be an issue.

I keep a bit of fender gap as opposed to being flush
