Compressor surge and flutter

Hey, everyone. I made a post a few days ago that didn't get any replies.

To recap, I have a '18 FiST with a Boomba 50/50 BOV spacer and a Cobb OTS Stage 1 93 octane tune on it.

Recently, I started noticing some turbo flutter. It sounds like compressor surge. My first guess was that my BV harness came unplugged but that was incorrect.

This just happened recently and months after either of my two mods were done so it leads me to believe my mods aren't the issue and it could be that something failed.

What happens now is turbo flutter when I let off the gas in lower RPMs (1,000-2,700). In higher RPMs during 3rd gear and above, I get the pssshhhh I expect from the BV spacer..

Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening..seemingly out of nowhere? I'm think it could be my BOV itself going bad or it could be something electronic the controls the BV. Im kind of lost and looking for help before I take my cobb tune off of it and take it to the dealer. (Still under warranty)

Not that I can tell. Under full throttle, it builds boost and holds it. It isnt until I let off the throttle and the throttle plate closes that I hear compressor surge. What worries me the most is that this has been a more recent things. I've had my boomba spacer for over a year and my tune for a few months. This just started in the last week or two. I got under it and made sure that harness was plugged in but im kind of clueless past that.

So....compressor. Turn off your AC. Turn off your defroster. Set to floor, turn off. No auto setting.
He's talking more along the lines of the Turbsky....not A/c compressor.

In my experience, it's likely your BPV isn't venting fast enough. I had at GoFastBits that had a screw on top where I could adjust the "response". Slow response (slow to vent) only makes sense for racing where you want slow the loss of boost when letting off throttle, before getting back on it again.

For street driving I want more response, to vent quickly, makes driving the car more predictable. Otherwise you might experience some "bucking" even under part throttle boost.
