Hey guys, I’ve bought a coolerworx for my mk7.5 Fiesta ST. I’m from Spain so I suppose my Fiesta is Euro version.
I’ve noticed that coolerworx advices that a modification in one of the transmission cable connector (shown in the photo).
But in many videos from youtube people don’t modificate that transmission cable connector.

So I’m asking if someone knows if I should do that modification in my Fiesta and why is it done.

Thanks guys and sorry for my English ✌️✌️

Can’t say if there are any differences in the euro version, but mine did not require any modification.

Since when you have the Coolerworx installed?? Maybe after many years it can be damaged?

I just installed it recently, but it was used which I purchased from another forum member. I’ve had no issues with it but it was very difficult to install.

I had to modify my cable end with their clamp on piece Bought it in Nov 23 and installed shortly there after. I am pretty sure its to help take the twist out of the cable when using the CW shifter assembly.
