Oh yes (depending on price)! I have been eyeing the CAE shifter for a long time. But, at 1800 bucks, the CAE is too rich for my blood.

We had some issues on a FoRS with a CAE kit and aftermarket short shift linkage. Should this be used with the factory linkage only or can I keep my Mountune SS? Have you installed this in your car yet?

I have some on the way, one will make it on to my Orange Car quickly
It's direct fit for the stock cables in the interior of the car. As far as I know any transmission adapter in the engine bay will be compatible
I'll confirm this ASAP

Thanks Ron. If that’s the case, it’ll save a lot of installation time. Adjusting all of the CAE’s linkages on the RS took quite awhile. Once finished, it felt incredible.

I’m curious about the compatibility with the Mountune SS as well, and I’m wondering how adjustable it is for throw - a combined 70% reduction would be a little much. I’m also really interested to see if it requires any cutting of the center console - I know the CAE does.

I really hope this ends up being good. I’ve really been eyeing the CAE, but this could be a better option.

I'm in the same boat. I paid Chris at Automotion to install my Mountune quick shifter and it seemed moderately difficult for him, a pro. I don't want to pay for a reversal and I am too lazy to do it myself.

my conversation with COOLERWROX this morning :
transmission adapters such as whoosh, Mountune are compatible
minimal adjustments are needed once installed on the shifter itself
there is a US Fiesta that has had one of these installed for a few months, they love the kit

we've cleaned out their built stock. I'll update the thread tomorrow with lead times on the next batch and if we are extending the GB price for future stock.
I'm truly amazed how this item has sold...it's only been just over 24 hours
