Defective hood

My car has only been driven twice in the rain. Other than that, it sits in a garage, gets hand washed every weekend and has been ceramic coated. No sun, no UV rays, nothing at all, and the paint is still sub par and needed a partial re-paint.

Seeing all this makes me very sad.

I am absolutely angry how they handled this, and have every right to be, on how shitty this car (and most modern cars at that) was produced.
As a freakin Painter, who fixes shit like this, I know first hand how a proper repair should be done. I know how bodyshops do warranty repairs...that’s a topic for another time...
But essentially if I am powerless in this situation, someone who does have extensive vehicle repair knowledge and access to tools, where does that leave Joe 6 pack?!!! NO, Ford, I do not accept your claim denial.

I keep thinking: if my mom owned this car and they fed her a lie or denied warranty on a factory issue...she’d be helpless.

Maybe if I find enough people with the same issue to present a case, just maybe it can change something.

I would say the majority of us got Ford to repaint but that is a Band-Aid.



My solution simple don't buy a Ford again they don't deserve your busines

ferd no longer has anything I would consider buying that is coming out. My business will go elsewhere this time to a place that is innovative and doesn't keep pushing huge trucks on its consumers.

I gotta check rear fender wells. That dumb little pocket is in need of rust conveter and a good working in of bedliner or something.
