I did not get much done as decided it was a bit late in the day, getting hot in the shop so worked on an easier project, I will update this as I get going on the tubing, many parts to cut and weld but I started with this.

I took quite a few pictures but could not get the right shot to show much but this part has a wide flat surface the air out of the IC runs right into, lots of restriction and turbulence is the result. Inside a bit is a smaller but secondary lip.

I beveled the inlet then rounded and smoothed it, it is far better now than the pictures shows. On the inner lip I was able to change into into a 1" long taper.

I do this on all parts I build that have air, boosted air, exhaust, flowing through them, all outlets are debured and all inlets beveled, rounded, tapered as I can make them and then each section in lined up as accurately as possible, intake to exhaust tip.

That includes working down inside cats, flex sections, resonators, mufflers and tips which most have some areas that need attention.

I most highly recommend this mod, on all cars, even stock, the cleaner the flow, the better things work.
