Door lock conversion

I was wondering if anyone has ever converted a keyless entry car to having door locks (at least on the drivers side) as having a dead battery and not being able to get in is a bit of an annoyance.

If so, could you use standard fiesta door lock cylinders if that's the case.

I've tried to get door lock cylinders from a ford dealership in the past and they told me the car never came with exterior door locks from the factory.
