Easy seat swap from Recaro?

I have a 2016 Fiesta ST with the Recaro seats. I do not like the seats and am considering orchestrating swapping them out for someone's non-Recaro stock ones. Having just talked with my mechanic, I've realized there's not only the heater in the Recaro seats but also likely airbags in both varieties. I don't care if the heater works in the seats I'm getting rid of (they do last I checked), but I would like the airbags to continue to work in mine (and any dashboard lights about airbags will result in a failed state inspection, so they have to work). Does anyone have information on whether there are stock non-Recaro seats that would plug and play swap like this? I'm hoping the same year(s) might, but I have no idea. An alternative is having the mechanic order and install the seats I want and just selling the Recaros as-is here; it seems like there is still a market for them (I'm in New England if anyone is strongly interested). Thanks!

I'm interested but have to cut the strongly part out as I'm in Texas about an hour east of Dallas. :( Unless we're going to do a road trip or ship seats to each other.

You can easily swap Fiesta seats from Recaro to any non Recaro. There was a harness plug change in 2017.

I went the opposite way and put Recaro seats in my Fiesta years later.

The other thing to look out for since the seats I picked up where from a front end collision ST which gave me an airbag light on the dashboard. I still have to clear it but people have mentioned it can be done with forscan.

I put Recaro seats out of an 16 in my 19 factory seats - 100% plug and play. Be sure to disconnect the battery and wait a bit for the current to drain before unplugging the seats in your car. Ask me how I know lol - you'll get an airbag light.
