FYI...just got this email ...

"Mornin' everyone;

Short update today.

It's been a long weekend, but I have all of the emblems powdercoated. Finally.

Every one of them will now be cleaned and polished by hand before they're packaged. This is a fairly tedious process and is likely going to take most of my afternoon to do. I should be ready to ship everybody's badges out tomorrow! Keep an eye on your inboxes, as I'll be getting each one ready to ship as I move down the line.

-Chris"
Nice! [cool] I had a feeling.

I also received a tracking number today...

And while I'm very pleased that Chris is very forthright and honest, I was kinda dissapointed to hear he still chose to send me out one of less than perfect badges as I am extremely picky about these details (damn OCD)...But in all fairness, He did bring it my attention and said he'd make it right If I was 100% satisfied after I received it...

"Oh, I forgot about this:

So, yours was one of a couple badges where I didn't do a particularly good job of getting all the powder off of the non-letter surfaces before curing it. As such, the bottom edge has a small section of powder that cured onto it that I wasn't able to remove when I hand polished it. (And unfortunately, I didn't even notice until I GOT to the hand-polishing stage.) Luckily it's not visible from the face and something that only you would ever notice. In the interest of time I'm going to send you the badge as-is, but I know that some people are a lot more picky than I am, so here's what I want to do:

- Look at the badge when it arrives. If the imperfection is not something you're willing to accept or live with, let me know right away and I will replace it at no cost to you. Ideally I'd rather *not*, but this is something I screwed up and will bite the bullet on if need be. :)

Here is the pic Chris send along with the message above....If this is the only area where there is a slight powder coat splatter then it really won't be noticeable when mounted...

Nice! I found this item on an E-bay auction after finding some pics of it on google images. I sent him a message and the rest is history. Hope everyone likes the badges. I think they are kinda cool myself.

Yeah and just think, this is not his full time job. He's a Focus ST owner and just does this on the side. He makes stuff for the WRX crowd too. [:D]

Ugggh, super frustrated. No badges for STFest. They didn't come in today and nothing new on tracking since the 25th. I knew I should have paid extra for priority service. [:(!]

I recieved and installed mine yesterday just before I left home for Focus Fest! Here I am seen at a car wash.
Your car mysteriously got faster, didn't it? ~grins~ [woot]

We got into Millington at midnight. So freakin tired, but I'm up.... lol
