I was trying my best to figure out how to install this and do a comparo with and without my new MAP intercooler that would normally go on at the same time but I guess I don't have to now.

End mods(performance) will include this kick ass of an idea from Velossa!, Mishis silicone intake elbow and drop in filter. Then test with and w/o opening the bottom of the stock air box.

All I can say is get a little Dremel off Amazon with cutting wheels....makes job 20x easier and you can get perfect cuts.

That looks great. I had assumed a dremel would be needed to make the cuts look clean anyway, good thing I've got one already.

Masking tape, a sharpie for layout, hole saws for the radius cuts, a razor saw to connect the dots and a little sanding/filing to finish it off, that's how I plan to do it. I just need to find the time.

I used a handheld propane torch and a red hot throwaway knife. Cut through it like butter, with a pretty clean edge. The only issue I ran into is after I'd put the bumper cover back on, the black plastic top piece that sits over the snorkel didn't fit quite right, making it impossible to put the pop pin back in the headlight. So I carefully softened up the plastic piece with the torch and molded it down onto the snorkel. Not a big issue, and I love the way it looks!

I too encounter the issue with the driverside headlight and I found that having someone move it around and push down you are able to put it all back together....but it was a very tight fit.

Yeah, my little arms didn't have enough oomph behind them to do that, so the torch became my muscle. LOL!

LOL! No, I have the long, thin kind that are great for getting to all the hard to reach places on these cars, but not so good at heavy lifting. Leverage is my friend.

Aren't you afraid your arms will break? I'd be worried about using them in fear that they would break! But if you have lizard genes and can grow stuff back when they fall off that would be a sight to see. Imo...

I could just say that there will be a 2 week lead time to cover my a$$... I'm doing a production run for Ecoboost Mustang methanol injection tank and pump brackets for TUNE+ right now and it's hogging all my machines so I will be a little bit behind until that is done (tomorrow). I hate when people order something and then have to wait too long

I absolutely will give velossatech more of my business when I need some more parts due to this statement of basically NOT ever wanting to over promise and under deliver or letting their alligator mouth over load their hummingbird ass ! If more businesses were honest like this and less greedy the world would be a better place.

I'd rather they release the data, and also just warn people that time to ship could be long. I don't see why they need to withhold, personally.
