My mr2 is running 18lbs on a td06 but that makes sense and I know for a fact I need cooling upgrade. How I like to upgrade my cars is ems, fuel, cooling and then turbo.

Didnt expect bolt ons to upset the car this much. Now time to talk to 2j and see what they think the next upgrades should be. My tuner already adjusted my tune.
Yeah, I had an mr2 with a 20g on 15 lbs and it never overheated either.

Also the radiator on the mr2 is in the front with no obstructions and is fairly thick ..... and the engine is in the back, makes a difference apparently.

The hot side of the IC. The levels IC has a 90 degree silicone house that connects to the stock hose. I'm guessing the stock hose expanses with the hard driving and would slip off.

Factory stock the Radiator is adequate. You have added mods and are upset that the OEM radiator isnt able to keep up makes no sense. Your producing more HP and Tq now.
Factory radiator is MEDIOCRE, I ran stock in similarly hot conditions, lap times at my track are around 1:30's and I could only muster 2 hot laps on my first day. 2nd day I ran high octane fuel to try to run cooler and was able to do 3 hot laps. Already contacted 2JR and ordered the radiator. Our stock radiator might be fine when outside temp is in the 70's or below but at 100 or over its just not enough.

Actually, when temps are 80 you can have a great day. my other track day where i broke into 2:09 it was 85ish degress.
but aver talking to Rick and analyzing his setup up, we might not need a upgraded rad. I would still do it just to be safe, but flow is restricted, and if you increase flow the radiator keeps everything cool. Also a oil cooler does wonders with keeping temps down.

if your FiST is running hot, have you drilled or opened the bottom half of the main grille? that will slightly improve air flow to the radiator until you upgrade to an aftermarket unit. tiny engine bay + turbo + mods = heat soaked
GIMME AIR!!!!!!!
