One of the advantages of living less than an hour from the Tail of the Dragon is I can get there many times a year. Last weekend was the first time on the Dragon for the Fiesta and the first of the season.

We spent all day running the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway and lot's of other great roads in the area. All together we did about 500 miles that day.

Very cool [driving]

How was the car? Do you feel you immediately need to address any aspect; brakes, handling balance, etc?

I'm heading down to the Dragon in a few weeks and I'm considering taking the FiST there [for MINIs on the Dragon].

Surprisingly, given the ride under normal conditions, the car feels a bit soft. There was more roll than I expected. That and I smelled brakes after one "spirited" run towards the end of the day. I think I will address the brake issue first.

That said, I was very impressed with the FiST for my first time out with it.

Definitely not surprised to hear the brakes aren't enough, they're just too small for the cars weight. For those that get serious about tracking, the brakes are the low hanging fruit.

Glad to hear you were impressed overall. :)
