Gauge cluster crack!

Anyone else experienced a cracking of the gauge cluster clear plastic? Mine has a crack propagating from the bottom of the speedometer - thankfully it's on the spot indicating top speed so I don't notice it regularly but still, friggin' annoying 'cause now I've got to tear apart the cluster to replace it.

Ford won't cover it as it's past 3 years 60,000km.

Too bad you didn't buy an ESP warranty with longer coverage.
Although it is hard to believe that something caused stress there.
On the plus side, you should be able to get a cluster from any wrecked Fiesta and just change the clear lens.

Yeah that extended warranty cost a lot more than a simple gauge cluster.

Yeah, you are right.

That has always been my problem too.
However,if I don't buy the ESP, I always have problems.
If I do buy it, I never need it.
The only good thing is that it is like a savings plan, since I usually trade in my cay before the warranty expires and it is transferable.
