This is the function where you hold unlock or lock on your remote for 3 seconds to open/close all your windows. Very useful on hot summer days where you want to air it out before getting it in the car.

However... How do you tell if you're equipped with it? I tried today and it doesn't work. Usually Chinese market imports fully loaded models only (no base model, or specific features, etc), so I'm assuming I SHOULD have it....

I don't think the NA models have this feature either, would be nice though.

Ya, we only have one automatic window. Could be worse though, could be like the SRT4's with only power front windows and cranks in the back haha

I think like the self dimming mirror it was deleted from the ST though I think the Titanium model here in NA might have it

Maybe a Ford rep could chime in with some clarification?

Ah, thanks for that heads up.

Well... both of my windows are automatic... Thank god. But it's ok.. you guys have multi-colored ambient lights whereas I have only red.

Interesting. Thanks for that info.

Another point over USDM model, my auto-dim mirror is standard!

Maybe a Ford rep could chime in with some clarification?
Agreed... I really liked this function when I had my BMW. Car baking under summer heat could really use this function. 40+ degrees here in summer.

I'll trade ya! All the ambient color options I've got for the auto-dim mirror.

HELL NO, not with all the Chinese drivers who drive with ONLY high beams on at night. Probably why it was standard in the Chinese market. [gunfire]

There is a video on you tube that mentioned the need to communicate and download a file in order to get GLOBAL WINDOWS option to work.

Does anyone know if a Ford dealership would activate this for us???

my understanding is that all fords with the remote locks and electric windows should have this feature.

Does anyone have any clarity to bring to this?

My research shows Global Open is not on the 2014 ST, but will be on the 2015, standard.

Here's a video, direct from Ford, about how to use the Global Open.

There's also info in the Owner Guide on page 73-74 about this.

Yep, the Electrochromic (Auto-dimming) Mirror is only on the Titanium for Fiesta.

I'm only able to look into North American features, but I can give you guys the numbers if the Customer Relationship Centers for your countries. Just let me know. :)

My EU Modell 2014 has a global close function on all windows. Global opening doesn't work.

Meagan,

Can you update this info, please?

Per page 72, I have tried programming the windows per page 70 (the only reference here is Ovet-riding the Bounce-back Feature), but it doesn't work.

I found this info for the Focus, but it seems rather involved:

http://www.focusst.org/forum/focus-...app-built-editor-all-around-reprogrammer.html

which I got from this video on YouTube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajREQax4_z8

Does my 2015 FiST have this feature?

Thanx,
