one interesting thing is that i got the red brake calipers with my grey rims. thought they were only with the black rims.
This means it was built between July-Dec-ish 2015. After that the factory fixed their screw up. Grey wheels were getting the red calipers and black wheels were getting the unpainted calipers. My 2016 was built in Sept 2015 and I got grey wheels with red calipers, and it was a pretty consistent story for awhile with 2016 cars in 2015. Personally I would have preferred the unpainted calipers, but at least I didn't pay extra to get them.
As for handling, it can handle a lot better than you are putting into it. I just got back from the ST Octane Academy last week and learned that firsthand. I was driving what I thought was pretty darn briskly after many laps of the track, then they took us out on hot laps with one of the instructors and I seriously thought the car was going to flip with the speeds he was taking in the turns, but the car handled it well.
If you are unaware, the ST Octane Academy is a 1 day course that comes with purchasing a new Fiesta or Focus ST (at no extra cost) and you have one year from purchase to do it. You have to drive or fly out to Utah to do it, but it's worth it.

Welcome, and I hope that my ordered base Magnetic 400A shows up with the red calipers as well.
It won't. They fixed the mix-up at the factory back in December or so. Your grey wheels will come with unpainted calipers as it says it should.
