Head unit screen is off

Hey guys so my brother has a 2014 FiSt and he just turned on his car and his screen has been off and won’t turn on and it’s been this way for 2 days now any ideas on how to get it back on or what went wrong?

This was an issue with some 2014’s.

Ford extended coverage for another 5 yrs. So your brother’s ST may no longer be covered. Doesn’t hurt to take it to Ford, let them look up the service bulletin and see if they’ll cover it anyways. Otherwise you will need to replace the APIM. At that point it’s probably better to upgrade to the later Sync 3 units. There several how to’s on here.
