I have a 2019 fiesta st 1.6l usdm, do I have a gear driven oil pump or wet belt? Is it prone to issues? I used Castrol magnatec 5w30 oil.

Curious about the reason for the question? Unless you're consistently in an unusually frigid/hot environment that oil will do fine.

The only belts these vehicles have are the serpentine (aka Accessory Drive) and timing belt.

No known issues with what is presumably a gear driven oil pump.

It was from a simple google search that the oil pump seal can wear out causing issues with the oil pump if not using the correct spec oil.
