How screwed am I?

Fitting the Mountune engine mount, right at the end I managed to snap this bolt/screw that helps connect this bracket between the exhaust manifold to the engine. Must’ve over-torqued it… doh…

Any idea if this will be a big issue? Go to a mechanic ASAP or not?

Even if they/I get it out, I’ve got no idea how to get a new screw in that gap, as the bracket is welded to the manifold… oops. Any help much appreciated!!

I would say not a big issue personally, as there is a still a bolt to mount the cat. This is immaterial to the load on the engine mount.

The one remaining bolt will be fine. This bracket takes some of the weight of the downpipe so it’s not all hanging off the turbo.

I’ve seen a few people remove this entirely so there’s less NVH. You’ll be fine!

Snapped it years ago - it holds the front pipe in place....slightly.
