When turning the key I hear like static but no start. After 5 or 6 or 7th tries the car started

The ST vehicles all have keyless ignition. Check for codes (FORScan software). If you're hearing grinding before engagement, there may be an issue with the flywheel or starter solenoid. Make sure the battery gets tested FIRST. Voltage drop testing can spot bad connection between battery post and clamps; even between battery post and vehicle.

When was the last time the Key Fobs batteries were replaced? The Keys are constantly searching for the cars so they can wear down quick especially if they're in your pocket and getting pressed when you sit down and your pants tighten up. Also use Name brand batteries not off brand.
