Intercooler and Intake needing Tune?

I know if you have a Cobb Stage 2 tune then they require an intake and intercooler, but the converse isn't true, right? Meaning I can install the intake and intercooler without a tune and the stock ECU will be just fine?

You should be okay without a tune, yes. But to see any real performance benefit, a tune is required and adds a considerable increase.

Got it. Eventually I'll probably wanna go with a tune, but for now the intake is for noise and the intercooler is to help keep temps down while doing occasional canyon runs
