I just had a birthday a few days ago on 7/10 and I celebrated by buying 2014 Tuxedo Black Metalic Fiesta ST and I could not be happier!!!
Three of my last SIX cars were front wheel drive hatchbacks, but the first hatch the I really LOVED was my 1985 Ford Escort GT that I had all through college. His name was Hugo and I bought him for $300.
Hugo's original owner died leaving him in the hands of the owner's oldest daughter. The daughter drove the car until the break pads wore threw the rotors and then decided to sell it. Hugo had NO brakes, no head or tail lights, and no muffler, but what Hugo did have MORE then made up for his initial short-comings. 120hp 1.6L TURBO with a stick, three pedals, and a body weight of barely over 1ton... Hugo only had 180,000 miles when I bought him and after I fitted some new brakes and some lights I got from a junk yard we were tearing around mountain roads in Virginia like we were in the WRC. Hugo sounded every bit of a half'a'V8 everywhere he went.
Sadly, Hugo's time was cut short during a bad storm when a 40 or so foot tall tree broke and fell on poor Hugo![[bigcry]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_bigcry.gif "Big Cry [bigcry]")
