Keyless entry issue

The car won't unlock by pulling the handle on either door. The buttons on the handles work fine for locking and unlocking though. Keyfob batteries seem fine.

Yeah I'm trolling buddy 🙄 I know for a fact they opened on the handle on my previous ST and even a Mondeo I had a few years ago which likely uses a similar setup.

I have to use the button on mine (2016 US market) to lock or unlock with the key fob in my pocket. I don't see any sensor on the handle.
I have other cars that have an obvious sensor in the door handle and they unlock or lock on motion when the fob is present.
